Sixteen 3c pupils took part in the Helbling Reading competition which started in November 2020 and ended in January 2021. It was voluntary work! They had to solve a mystery in the story “Midnight Bay“ by reading and listening. Five of them managed to do all twelve chapters and to find out the solution: Tobias Foidl, Bastian Gesslbauer, Katherina Lerchenberger, Johanna Rauth and Tobias Seiwald. Two pupil almost solved the mystery but did not get to the very end: Patricia Rauth and Elena Gründler.

30 000 Austrian pupils took part. There was a draw among the ones who had finished:
1st prize: iPad (9x)
2nd prize: a bundle of Helbling e-readers + CD (21x)
class-prize if the whole class had taken part: Helbling-Readers for all pupils

Bastian Gesslbauer received the 2nd prize and Helbling sent him a bundle of e-readers. Normally Helbling would have come to the school to hand over the prize themselves but because of Corona they were not allowed to enter our school, so  the presentation was arranged in 3C class. Our headmaster, Dir. Christoph Hundegger, handed over the prize and the certificates and congratulated all participants. As you can see, the homeschooling-group took part online. - Congratulations!
